Raven Returns: The Story of the Human Beings
Raven Returns
Epic Storytelling as a Theatrical Event
There are many ways to tell the story of
humanity, but this one has time and again
moved audiences from around the world.
Raven Returns is a performance based on
the Yup’ik Eskimo tradition of epic storytelling.
This two-hour, one man show follows the
history of Alaska’s Yup’ik people from the
creation of Earth to the present turmoil
of the modern world. It even looks into
the future just enough to instill an amazing
sense of hope.
Enchant your audiences with this simple
production that is both ancient and modern.
Appropriate for family (Rated PG) and
adult audiences alike, Raven Returns
is the perfect way to bring the Yup’ik
culture to your community. And yet,
it is a story about everyone.
